Google Analytics 4 Configuration

Google Analytics 4
Example of Event statistics

Google Analytics 4 (GA4) is the newest version of tracking from Google.  Instead of tracking page views, GA4 tracks event based behavior, enabling you to have more meaningful data.

GA4 may be new to many, but at Marketing Doctors, we have years of experience working with Google’s event-centric tracking model in several methods. Our goal is to help you maintain your existing tracking insights while allowing you to expand your information-gathering on customer behavior while they interact with your site based on metrics YOU decide.

Google is sunsetting the old version of the platform on July 1, 2023. Not only should established companies migrate their tracking from Universal Analytics (UA) to Google Analytics 4, but new sites would do well to consider GA4 as their primary tracking method to have the most data available to foster sound business decisions in the future.
